Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is a popular American rapper, singer and songwriter. He is also a record producer. His stage name is the amalgamation of the name of his favorite uncle, and the initials Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his first major label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. In April 2013, he signed joint-recording agreements with Epic and T.I. The record was released under the Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project that was full-length the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott released his debut full-length mixtape Owl Pharaoh. The album was immediately followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015) was the debut album from the studio. The smash single "Antidote" was the album's lead track. His second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number-one album on the Billboard 200. Scott continued to release albums that year, including a joint album titled Huncho Jack Huncho and was released under the title Huncho Jack. The band's third studio album Astroworld was released to acclaim from critics. The album was the source of the first Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. In late 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys that topped the Billboard 200. Scott's hit single "Franchise", featuring Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, came out. Scott was the first artist to be ranked first place on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than a year.
